What have I learned from my 12 years old son during the holidays?

I have just arrived home from a long trip and dropped in the room of my son for a chat before he fell asleep. He told me stories about what happened with him in the school. He performed really well and I become curious about his method of learning. I knew that he does not spend much time with learning at home. He has so many other interesting things to do. He revealed that he prepares himself in the school right before the class then he listens carefully to the teacher. To the end of the lecture he is in the state that the lesson is memorized.
