What have I learned from my 12 years old son during the holidays?

Image
I have just arrived home from a long trip and dropped in the room of my son for a chat before he fell asleep. He told me stories about what happened with him in the school. He performed really well and I become curious about his method of learning. I knew that he does not spend much time with learning at home. He has so many other interesting things to do. He revealed that he prepares himself in the school right before the class then he listens carefully to the teacher. To the end of the lecture he is in the state that the lesson is memorized. So, at home remain only few things to recap. I thought that this principle can be leveraged well at work, too. I immediately remembered the lengthy meetings when we spent a lot of time to recall the known facts which were communicated in advance. During my many years in the business I faced such situations when most of the participants did not prepare for the meeting. It is not only a disrespect to others but root cause of huge loss of time...

Special message for 2018

A new year is always full of promises. Naturally, not without reason and not without purposes. But, how can we be really sure about our sustained success and fun? How can we assure the balance of work-life so that is fits our aim, purpose and soul? Mainly, we shall believe that things can ever come unexpected in front. Our energy to live work-life positively shall keep us move forward whatever situation we are facing to. The last message for you this year concludes this basic principle and hopefully lets you a great rocket start to 2018!

Thoughts that have been distilled while working on digitization projects: I saw many people who failed and become successful again. There should be a blind and massive belief all effort is not useless and in a later time your experience will pay off. Because can come situation that you do not know in advance and the more you learn from your failures the higher the chance that suddenly you find the excellent solution. Just do not give it up, whatever happens.
